I love painting the wildlife both internationally and Australian. As I have travelled a great deal I have gathered great deal of reference material. I love rainforest walking and watching the wildlife and being able to relate to it and also their habitate.
My landscape paintings come from within, of all the places I have visited and also the love of the land. Australia has such a wide range of scenery from outback Australia to the beautiful coastline. Every part is different from Western Australia to the Eastern Coast. The scenery is so beautiful and I try to capture this beauty in my mind and express this in my paintings. Sandy's welcome you to her new paintings for 2008 Rainforest paintings and landscapes. Sandy's love of the rainforest makes it a pleasure to paint this subject. What joy it brings to her when another sale is made of her beloved subject. Sandra is now adding a new range of paintings on canvas blocks (stretched canvas over wooden frame) These are light to parcel for international buyers. Paintings are sold with no frame and can be sent matted and backed if wished or rolled and posted in a cylinder.
